Enjoy 30‑day visa‑free golf vacation in Hainan. World‑class golf courses, perfect weather from October‑April, custom golf packages available.
Starting from 20 August 2026, China’s National Immigration Administration has expanded the Hainan 30‑day visa‑free entry policy to 61 countries, adding Kyrgyzstan and Vietnam to the eligible list.
Citizens of these 61 countries holding ordinary passports may enter Hainan via Hainan’s open ports and stay visa‑free for up to 30 days within Hainan Province. During the permitted stay, visitors can engage in tourism, golf, business visits, family reunion and other short‑term activities.
Important reminder: This visa‑free policy is valid only within Hainan Province. Leaving Hainan will invalidate visa‑free status. Activities such as work, employment and news reporting require pre‑approved Chinese visas.
Together with the 240‑hour transit visa‑free scheme covering 57 countries, international travellers now enjoy greater convenience for visiting Hainan.
Hainan boasts dozens of world‑class golf courses across the island. Whether you arrive in Haikou or Sanya, a fantastic selection of Asia‑renowned golf venues awaits you. Standout courses include the multi‑course resort of Mission Hills Haikou, Shenzhou Peninsula Golf Club (ranked 11th in Asia), Jianlake Blue Bay Golf Club, host of the LPGA World Ladies Masters, Mystic Springs Golf Club widely‑known as one of Asia’s most challenging layouts, Begonia Bay Peninsula Golf Club (30th in Asia), and Yalong Bay Golf Club (87th in Asia).
The prime golf travel season in Hainan runs from October through to April of the following year, offering pleasant dry‑season weather perfect for golf.
‑ October‑November: Average temperature 24‑28°C‑ December‑February: Average temperature 18‑24°C‑ March‑April: Average temperature 22‑27°C
We recommend avoiding the busy Chinese Spring Festival period (14 Feb – 26 Feb 2026). During this window, hotel and resort prices will rise by 30‑50 % and golf tee‑times are limited. All other dates in the dry‑season window deliver excellent golfing conditions.
